FWIOO - Free and Open Source Foundation
The management of Free and Open Source Foundation has decided to officially lend its support to the initiative of the European Parliament using open standards and free and open software in its IT sector.
Free and Open Source Foundation was created to popularize modern technologies and free and open software in administration, business, science and education.
Aside from popularizing the use of modern technologies, one of the Foundation's main aims is legal protection of free and open software and support of the transfer of technology from its research and developmental sphere into administration and business nationally, on the European level and beyond it. To achieve these aims the Foundation is running projects which provide legal, technical, organizational and financial support to free and open source software creators.
Free and Open Source Foundation aims at providing equal opportunities to deprived adults as well as children. These projects prepare for future careers, unlimited intellectual development and act against digital exclusion.
Furthermore, our aim is to integrate similar initiatives dispersed throughout the country of Poland, and act toward accomplishing the idea of free and open software and the development of a digital society.
